We had our last sonogram today! Who wants to know the gender? Do you? Do you wanna know the gender? I bet you do!
So, notable things about the doctor’s visit:
- I’m down more weight to 221, my lowest weight in forever. Apparently that actually is baby bump and not me gaining weight ’cause this is the best my weight’s been in awhile. This is the awesomest diet ever.
- Both my mom and Andrew’s mom got to be there! Mom brought balloons – one pink and “It’s a Girl”, one blue and “It’s a Boy.” Woman has her bases covered.
- We got to take Andrew’s mom to Fogo de Chao afterwards for lunch. She’d never been, and it was tons of fun. I want more right this very minute. The world is so cruel.
- We got our rocking chair and ottoman in today! Glee! Our first real baby room furniture is here!
How many of you are just skipping through this looking for the gender? I bet like 90% of you. This is really fun. Okay okay. GENDER. Sorry about the way the sonogram’s offset, we messed the tripod up.
Huh. That was weird. Regardless. :D We has a gender.

I was about to chuck my laptop across the room when I saw the Rickroll…good call on the recover!
From this point on, it can get pretty terrifying because the gender makes it more real. Just chill out and enjoy this awesome news! It helps if you actually write down what’s worrying you, because afterwards you realize you don’t really have that much to worry about other than his safety. And that worry NEVER goes away, so its something you have to cope and deal with anyway, so good to start now
