Oh we are so very clever.
Thank you, thank you, a million times thank you to Kirby Lane! Mom and Mom and Dad Balch had no idea. I hope you realize that we are clever clever offspring and that we win.
Our waitress and Victoria were absolutely wonderful, though I don’t think any of us tasted a single bite of our food. Mom started bawling, and Andrew’s parents were absolutely dumbstruck. In a good way. Mama Balch gleed and giggled the entire way home, and Daddy Balch couldn’t stop beaming. Oh we did so, so very well.
SURPRISE, PARENTS. :D

Awwww. How fun to see you share the news. Jeni, your mom’s reaction was so sweet. Andrew, Mom and Dad look so happy and full of laughter. How fun!! You gusy did great! What a fun way to share your news! I hope that you all enjoy the appointment tomorrow and listening to the heartbeat. : ) I wish I could be there. Maybe you can use the Flip and record the heartbeat. : )

I love the two of you laughing the entire way through it.
Are the rest of us off lockdown now? Are there any groups that still need to be kept in the dark?

Facebook is still on lockdown for the nonce until we tell coworkers.

YAYAYAYAYAYAY!!! I don’t have to hide it anymore! I thought for sure Mom would pick it up in my voice.
Those flags are adorable; you two are so clever. What a great way to tell them.
Way to go KL! Always worth the drive and for this announcement, I would have flown home too.
Love you guys!

In retrospect, treat those 3 lines as separate thoughts and not as congratulations for making your mother cry.

Good clarification.

Hi Jen and Andrew!!!
I cried with Paula just now via the “telling the parents” sequel of pending tadpole. CONGRADULATIONS, perfect age to be creating a man/woman chile – both on the planet and in your life cycles, I am thinking!
I can remember as if it weren’t 32+ 2 months and a few days, hours, minutes ago – how fun to be able to follow the growth timelines and actually absorb the idea of being able to nurture something other than a plant, to life!
Looking forward to seeing you – would love to be there for a blessing ceremony when time for the coming out celebration approaches!
love to the trinity….ps….b-2 is what is missing when it is nausea….

Aww, thank you so much Brenda! My prenatal as B-2 in it, thank goodness.
